Our Origin Story

Twin Sisters Construction, formerly H&L Construction, is a family-owned company founded in 1998 by Dave Hoskins. His son Charlie joined in 2024, prompting a rebrand inspired by the Twin Sisters mountain range visible from their home. We offer full-service construction, from design-build homes to insurance restoration, with a commitment to quality, customer service, and sustainability.

Dave Hoskins

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Dave Hoskins brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for the trade to every project. His journey began at the age of 16 when he built his first home, and his lifelong dedication to the craft has only grown since. Dave founded his own company with a clear mission: to turn clients' dreams into reality through hard work, expertise, and quality construction.

A native of Berthoud, Colorado, Dave was an active athlete at Berthoud High, where he learned the value of teamwork and commitment — qualities that he continues to apply in his professional life. Outside of work, Dave treasures spending time with his family and takes great joy in spoiling his grandchildren.

Charlie Hoskins

With a lifetime spent around construction, Charlie Hoskins brings true hands-on experience and a deep passion to every project he takes on. Growing up working alongside his father, a longtime general contractor, Charlie learned the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and doing right by people from an early age. Construction isn’t just a job for him — it’s something he’s lived his whole life.

When he’s not on a job site, Charlie loves spending time with his wife and their dog, making the most of the outdoors whenever he can. Whether it’s a day on the golf course, boating, or just enjoying nature, he’s always looking for ways to recharge. Above all, Charlie is driven by a genuine desire to help people — making their homes, and their lives, just a little bit better every day.
